Men’s Fellowship

UNITE 

p_169_r_160At Moriah, we believe that “UNITE” Men’s Fellowship is based on the love and commitment that is shown between David and Jonathan. The firm bonds of friendship and loyalty are expressed so beautifully in these scriptures.

At our Men’s Fellowship gatherings, we will explore today’s reality of the “covenant” made between these two good friends and be brave enough to allow these qualities to be shown in our lives. Challenging?; Yes it is, Impossible?: No, not with Christ who as our friend has shown His commitment to us.

“And it came to pass, when they had finished speaking to Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments even his sword and his bow and his girdle.” [1 Samuel 18:1,3,4]
