This year we have been able to support the great work done by the food cooperative. We are working in partnership to reduce food poverty and improve the wellbeing of our local community. The food cooperative runs out of Holy Trinity Church hall on a Tuesday Morning.
The food cooperative has asked us to collect the following items which are collected on a monthly basis: (Quantity is better than size so smaller sizes preferred as they can go to more families)
Toilet rolls, tissues, wipes, nappies (all sizes), soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste, tooth brushes, laundry liquid/tablets or powder, washing up liquid.
Tinned meat or fish, tinned fruit and vegetables, tins/jars cooking sauce.
We also support seasonal needs and Judith lets us know when there is a needs for a specific items. We have been able to support with children’s Christmas gifts, blankets and Easter Eggs so far.
If you would like to donate then bring them along to Church or for more information give us a call.
